In it, we can find influences of various kinds, including 'fusion', 'classic', 'newage' and more. The composer often likes to use the typical musical form of jazz, with the musical themes and their improvised variations. Hence the term 'New Generation Jazz', which is intended to distinguish the musical form of the album.

Spotify

Interpreters

Alessandro Fois | Composer | Piano

Alessandro Fois is a composer and pianist. in the course of his experience, he has played various genres of music, classical music, jazz, blues, newage, world music, progressive, musicals, soundtracks, pop and more. Musical preferences: blues, funky, jazz. A self-taught musician with 40 years of experience, he has woven numerous collaborations in recording studios, concerts and major musical events with nationally and internationally renowned artists. He is constantly striving to improve and characterise the 'sound' of the instrument, especially the fretless bass, which he deeply loves because he can best express the essence of his art with it.

Massimo Tore | Double Bass

Massimo Tore, double bass player. His interests range from classical music to jazz, with a particular predilection for improvised music. A self-taught musician, he then completed his studies at the Cagliari Conservatory of Music. Although it is in fact an atypical trio (with electric bass and double bass) Alessandro manages to make it sound like an orchestra where each of the individual voices that make up the work is autonomous but closely connected to the others. DIALOGUE is the right title. For an original work that deserves attention.

Paolo Fresu (composer, trumpeter)

The album 'Dialogue' tastes as pleasant and rounded as a balanced wine! The musical themes of author and pianist Alessandro Fois range from 'Keith Jarret-style jazz' to 'progressive style'. Paolo Cocco's fretless bass gave a strong imprint to the work. Massimo Tore's double bass is soft and important. Alessandro Garau's drums are careful and dynamic. Very nice sound overall. Congratulations.

Salvatore Corazza (composer, drummer)

Fantastic, Alexander! I heard all the tracks. Beautiful work. You were able to build a sound project with a very special character. This is a very important and rare thing. You and your musicians have created an original and recognisable sound world, something that is not easy, especially in fusion and jazz, which is a gift that only 'great artists' have. A rarity! Heartfelt congratulations.

Andrea Cutri (composer, guitarist)

"Dialogue", minimal and original: two stones that make it more precious than gold. Its construction is as solid as Gothic cathedrals, but the notes know how to get lost and tell with intensity and freedom of green spaces, sun and sea glitter, as of clouds and stormy doubts. His notes do not succumb to self-satisfaction. They do not get lost in the bonfire of vanities. Of wanting to belong, of wanting to quote to quote. Everything is spontaneously balanced in graceful chaos as he, the Gentle Pianist, is. Wonderful is the flight that soars from a rational soul!

Amélie Gavaudò (poet and songwriter)

'Dialogo' is a wonderful work that testifies to great artistic maturity. Powerful means of expression, use of counterpoint, tasteful melodic lines. An impeccable and highly expressive performance leads to exciting sonic developments.

Nello Nicotra (bassist and double bassist)

Congratulations, Alessandro ... an excellent piece of work. Well composed, arranged and played with class, good taste and excellent musicality. Very good sound and mix too. It is a great artistic project. And the choice of musicians was also excellent.

Giuseppe Melis (composer, drummer and double bass player)

Ten tracks for a continuous up and down of emotions. It is called 'Dialogue' and never could the title have been more appropriate. Because in Alessandro's disc, just as in a tight discourse between heart and brain, the alternation of atmospheres is a conciliatory dualism: just take the juxtaposition of two tracks such as 'Afternoon at the Sea' and 'Rock Flower' as an example. The first is slow and lulling, just like the reflection of a lazy sun over a polaroid of memories, the second a crescendo of pathos and pressing rhythms. A varied record, about life, teddy bears, looming clouds and darting glitter. A hilarious, funny, sometimes intimate, sometimes disturbing record, like all things that begin one way and end another. How nice to be able to tell life in a whisper, but with such power.

Stefano Bonazzi (writer and visual artist)

'Dialogue' is an album capable of evoking emotions and reminiscences. These important characteristics, combined with melodic and structural clarity, make this album a pleasant encounter between jazz and pop.

Stefano Incani (composer, drummer)

I agreed to play with Alessandro Fois on his music album called 'Dialogue' because I was particularly attracted by the originality of the project, and also to take the opportunity to express the sound of my fretless bass in a completely new way (which I call 'Foisian', in reference to the author).

Paolo Cocco (bassist)

[77

0":"post-8036","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-musica","8":"first","9":"instock","10":"shipping-taxable","11":"product-type-simple
["GET
